    “Bergen liegt sehr zentral auf der Insel. Von dort aus ist es nicht weit, um die gesamte Insel zu erkunden.Bergen selbst ist ein überschaubarer, gemütlicher Ort. Richtig gut (besonders) essen kann man im "Tüffelhus". Einkaufszentren liegen eher am Rande der Stadt, dort bekommt man alles. Die Kirche von Bergen ist sehr schön, es lohnt sich, sie zu besichtigen. Rügen ist immer eine Reise wert.”

    “Bergen zelf is geen mooie stad. In de buurt van het huisje zijn wel een paar leuke restaurantjes op fiets- of loopafstand. ( Puk's en het Tuffelhus bijv. aan de Bahnhofstrasse) Bergen aug Rügen heeft wel het grote voordeel dat het centraal op Rügen ligt. Vanuit hier kun je alle kanten van het eiland dus gemakkelijk bereiken.
    Ook vlakbij het huis is een goed gesorteerde supermarkt ((Rewe), ook op loopafstand.
    De eigenaresse is heel gastvrij, houdt van een praatje, maar is niet te aanwezig. Wil je informatie over het eiland? Vraag het en je krijgt overal antwoord op.”
