There are fincas where the photos and video speak volumes: Anyone who has flown over the elegant, varied outdoor area of the finca "Can Gall de Costitx" with our drone will have an idea of the charm with which this gem in the middle of the island welcomes its guests, and they can even be sporty and ambitious, because there is even a 20 x 40 metre tennis court on the extensive grounds, which is tournament-sized!
Please note that there is no maintenance for the tennis court from November to March. If you tire of the yellow felt balls at some point, take a stroll through the park-like garden along many different trees, palms and flowers over to the large pool, where you can swim a few laps after a refreshing dip. Whether you want to continue soaking up the sun on the terrace surrounding the pool or retreat to the shade of the covered terrace with a good book is entirely up to you. One thing is certain: There are plenty of spots here that invite you to snooze and chill out. The other side of the property is dedicated entirely to the art of barbecuing. The terrace with awning and brick barbecue invites you to enjoy a festive barbecue meal. The magnificent bouganvillas on the walls of the house façade are a particular eye-catcher, as are many other details such as a private fountain that bears witness to the finca's ancient past.
What a stroke of luck that the interior has also been restored with so much attention to detail and tastefully furnished. The living room is particularly spectacular, with a ceiling that is 7 metres high in places and is directly connected to the gallery on the upper floor. When you take a seat on the sofa here and let your gaze wander to the crackling fire or the hopefully entertaining television, you know that behind you is a stone wall reminiscent of a historic monastery. The hot/cold air conditioning system provides additional heating in the bedrooms, living room and dining room in winter. Antique, dignified furniture and carpets enhance the ambience and the open-plan architecture of the flowing rooms on the ground floor. The kitchen has a bar that opens out onto the glazed dining room (conservatory), where you get plenty of bright sunlight (the windows there, which cannot be opened, offer a fantastic view). Many natural colours create a feel-good atmosphere. On the ground floor, two bedrooms share a bathroom. The rear room has an additional exit to the garden (see floor plan). The gallery on the upper floor has a desk, perfect for writing letters, and another double bed with an adjoining bathroom and stylish bathtub. The upper floor also has a bedroom with two single beds. Mosquito nets in front of the bedroom windows ensure a peaceful night's sleep. There are board games and toys for small children (Lego, cars, building blocks) in the house to keep boredom at bay during the day.
This means that you will be well rested when it's time to explore the surrounding area during the day. The property is in a quiet location away from roads, although aircraft noise may be audible if the wind direction is unfavourable or if there are changes in aircraft movements. After all, many tourists want to savour the incomparable island, which captivates in this region with the Plà de Mallorca, a gently undulating plain with small mountain streams and holm oak forests. From the finca you can easily reach the Tramuntana mountains as well as the beautiful coastal towns and sandy beaches of the east. In Costitx, 3 km away, you can experience authentic village life, especially on Saturdays, when there is a market and the island's only planetarium. The most famous beaches such as Es Penyo or Can Picafort are also just 30 km away. Here you can spend a relaxing day swimming before travelling back to your exquisite finca "Can Gall de Costitx" in the evening.
