Holidays with a high recreational factor – this is what you can expect in the very well-equipped 4.5-room apartment on two floors with a living space of about 101m2 of. The apartment has two bedrooms with double beds and a children's room with a bunk bed. The living/dining area with open kitchen and fireplace is perfect for relaxing even when the weather isn’t cooperating. The apartment has a bathroom with shower and toilet and a second bathroom with bath and toilet. There is a terrace with mountain views where you can enjoy the sun in all seasons.

The house is situated in a quiet area, 6 minutes’ walk from Grund train station, terminal station and the Männlichen cable car. The bus stop is close by.

WiFi and two outside parking spaces are included in the rent.

Pets and smoking are not allowed in the house.

The glacier village of Grindelwald nestles in a diverse, unspoilt Alpine landscape. It is world famous for its backdrop of snow-covered mountains including the Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In summer, some 500 kilometers of well-marked walking, hiking and mountain trails wait to be explored. En route you will find you’ll find rustic mountain restaurants offering a wide selection of good food, ideal spots to take a relaxing break. The region has many other summer activities to enjoy, such as 120 kilometers of marked mountain-biking routes, paragliding, bungee jumping in the glacier gorge, scooter bike run, summer roller-sledge run, First cliff walk and much more. In winter, 45 mountain railways, aerial cableways and ski lifts offer an invitation to enjoy great fun in the Jungfrau Region. The tree areas of, Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn offer over 200 kilometers of pistes, with a choice of thrilling or easy downhill runs. Non-skiers are well created for with 100 kilometers of winter-walking trails. The region is also a paradise for sledding fans. The 15-kilometre sledge run from the Faulhorn summit down to Grindelwald is the longest in the Alps. And there’s plenty more snow sport on offer in the Jungfrau Region, including snowshoe tours, cross country skiing and ice sport.

    “Leider konnten wir die Wohnung für das nächste Jahr nicht mehr buchen, da sie bereits ein Jahr im voraus ausgebucht war. Wir hätten diese Wohnung gerne wieder gebucht. Positiv: Sehr gute Lage. Wir konnten zu Fuss zur Bergbahn gehen. Der Verkehr hat uns nicht gestört. Wir hatten zwei Aussenparkplätze, welche wir sehr gut gebrauchen konnten. Sehr schöne Terasse mit traumhafter Aussicht und genügend Platz in der Wohnung. Grosszügiger Eingangsbereich. Negativ: Die Einteilung der Wohnung. Die Küche konnte nicht direkt vom Wohnzimmer aus betreten werden. Es war etwas mühsam, wenn man etwas in der Küche holen musste. Wir mussten jedes Mal ringsherum gehen. Aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Restaurant: Berggasthaus First - Sehr schöne Terasse mit traumhafter Aussicht, wenn das Wetter schön und klar ist. Gepflegtes Selbstbedienungsrestaurant oder mit Bedienung. Am Nachmittag haben wir trotz vielen Leuten immer einen Platz gefunden und mussten nicht anstehen. Ausflüge: Cliff Walk, Grindelwald First - Eine sehr gute und interessante Abwechslung zum Skifahren. Ein Besuch lohnt sich vorallem auch für Nichtskifahrer. Sehr interessanter Spaziergang.”

    “Strange that you’ve to pay an additional >450CHF fee for cleaning when checking in. Seems rather costly for just cleaning, especially beforehand. Doesn’t make sense. Positiv: The location Negativ: Additional high fee for cleaning when checking in”

    “Globalement satisfait mais, comme expliqué, l'appartement mériterait quelques rafraichissements. Positiv: Places de parc juste devant. Lave-linge. Terrasse et jardin. Cheminée. Assez spacieux pour 6 personnes. Negativ: Globalement l'appartement devrait etre rafraichi et certains équipements changés: balai, sechoir vetements, chaises longues terrasse. Une porte de chambre se ferme tres mal car frotte sur le parquet. Un radiateur dans une des salles de bains semble ne pas fonctionner. Ausflüge: Lauterbrunnen - Le paradis des cascades”
