The Tauplitzalm, just a few km away, is located in the heart of Austria, the Ausseerland in the Salzkammergut, and at 1,650m above sea level, it's the highest high lake plateau in Central Europe and the largest single ski area in Styria. Six crystal-clear lakes on the Tauplitzalm are lined up like gleaming mirrors along the hiking trails and is perfect for refreshing body, mind, and soul. In winter, 43 km of elegantly laid out and perfectly groomed slopes are available for winter sports enthusiasts on the surrounding mountains of Mitterstein, Lawinenstein, and Schneiderkogel. There is something for every skier on the extensive slopes. You can stock up the supplies for the stay from the Spar Supermarket, a short walk away from the property. The shared swimming pool is a natural swimming pond, so you have a one-of-a-kind amenity here. Unwind in the garden and set up the grill or sit by the fireplace during winter. There are laundry facilities available. Close the day with a relaxing bath in the sauna or enjoy your time cosying up in one of the comfortable bedrooms. You can store your ski equipment in the ski storage where ski boot heaters are also kept. The sun loungers are a nice place to relax or read a book under the shade. In the lavish open kitchen, you can prepare delicious home-cooked meals and enjoy them with everyone in the living/dining room where there is a double sofa bed, smart TV, and a seating area. You can also admire the beautiful mountain views from the balcony of this living room. Well, all the bedrooms have a balcony so the views of the surroundings are guaranteed!! In the garage, you can safely park your cars.
